Anime Picks is always looking to expand its team of writers and contributors. The roles we have range from review writing, to articles and event writing, so all subjects are covered.

We cannot pay any writer for their contributions but depending on the role you choose, you may be provided with free tickets, review anime and various other perks.

The roles we have available are:

Role: News writer

Duties: You will be expected to provide the site with regular news posts, 300 words (maximum) on these subjects: anime, manga, anime events, anime related games, distribution companies, general anime/manga related news.

Role: Article contributor

Duties: To provide interesting and well-written articles with the theme of anime and manga in mind. The ideas for this will first need to be run by the editor and then will be 600 words maximum.

Role: Streaming reviewer (Anime On Demand)

Duties: To provide full season streaming reviews on this selected provider. These will be 500 words maximum in length and must follow our house style and layout.

Role: Video Creator

Duties: We are looking for somebody with a creative flair and the ability to create interesting/funny/entertaining videos related to anime, manga, figures, cosplay and otaku culture.

Role: Cosplay article writer

Duties: If you are interested in cosplay then we are looking for somebody to write informative reviews on creating cosplay outfits, cosplay photography and cosplay in general. These would be up to 600 words in length.

All of these roles require you to first email us at info@animepicks.co.uk with the subject ‘Write for us’. You will need to provide us with an example of your work and any ideas you have for your preferred role. You will also need to let us know how much of your time you are willing to dedicate to your role – this way we can judge if we need more writers.

If needed we can provide you with our writing guidelines for each section so you know what house style we have.

If you provide enough content for us and prove that you are a enthusiastic and commited writer then we will have a chibi drawing of you commissioned and you will have a spot in our main writers section on the about page!
